NATIONAL PARKS FOREVER!!!

 From sea to shining sea, America is dotted with forests, plains, mountains, and historic sites firmly guarded by the federal government. These areas are known as national parks. They benefit the United States of America economically, educationally, and financially. 

When tourists visit a national park, they must eat and sleep somewhere. Depending on the nature of the trip, they may stay some nights at a hotel or campground and eat at restaurants. They could also use services such as Uber or buses. But a business doesn't have to be near a national park to be involved. Everyone gets to pay for the upkeep of national parks whether they want to or not! It's another splendid example of unity in America. The whole economy is involved in national parks. 

Who doesn't love majestic mountains, sparkling rivers, and towering forests fiercely guarded by the federal government? Everyone knows that it's impossible to preserve land without the feds. How could we survive without them? Gazing at great American landscapes, our hearts race and a certain awe overcomes us that can only come from beholding a piece of land controlled by the federal government. What an incredible sight!

Thank goodness the government bought millions of acres to make money with! Paid by the privileged taxpayers, millions of people work for the National Park Service. It's nice that the feds have a side hustle to bring in a little extra spending money and stupefy the nature lovers. 

Obviously, national parks are highly beneficial to the United States of America. Today, please join me in raising a new banner and taking up the cry of NATIONAL PARKS FOREVER!!!

"In 2021, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that a high school cheerleader could not be punished in school for using curse words on social media when commenting about not making the cheer team while she was off school grounds. Do you think students should be held to the same standard when exercising their First Amendment right to freedom of speech whether they’re on or off school property?"  My answer to this prompt: Public school speech restrictions are in place to protect innocent ears and inhibit conflict. They benefit schoolchildren. However, the favorable result of a policy is not the only factor to take into account when considering its expansion. States make few efforts to promote and protect human rights. First and foremost, it is important to understand why human rights matter. Every man, woman, boy, and girl is created equal and bears the likeness of God. Fundamental human rights are endowed by God, not by government leaders. State human rights policies affirm that which is already true.  The freedom of expression, right to life, the right to work and get an education, and freedom from slavery and torture all fall under the human rights category. Being generally agreed upon as beneficial principles, these rights also contribute to international norms. Most states say that human rights are good and they are working on them, but they are inconsistent.  Inconsistency holds people and policies back.
